What do I need to do prior to the retreat?
Before you make your way to Myrtle Beach, help us prepare for your attendance by filling out this survey HERE. Inside, you can choose your preferred table conversations for Tuesday, sign-up for a private prayer time (optional), share any dietary needs or restrictions, and indicate whether or not you plan to extend your stay through Wednesday evening and join a few optional activities. We also encourage you to join our Private Facebook Group so you can connect with other attendees and see the latest updates.
What is the venue address?
Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort: 10000 Beach Club Drive Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29572-5304
The hotel is a bit off the beaten path! You will need to turn onto Chestnut Rd (east toward the ocean) at the T intersection you will make a right onto Kings Rd. In about 100 feet you will make a left onto State Rd S-26-773 then turn right on Lake Shore Dr. go through a security gate, make a left onto Beach Club Drive. The Hilton will be right in front of you with a parking deck on your right.
Is parking available?
If you are driving, your parking fee is discounted from $12 to $6 per day and charged to your room. Your resort fee is included in the price of the room. Let one of our retreat staff know if you’re experiencing any issues during the retreat. We are here to serve you!
What transportation options are available to/from the airport?
The nearest airport is (MYR) Myrtle Beach Airport: 1100 Jetport Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. It is approximately 8-12 miles (25-35 minutes) away from the hotel venue. Hotel shuttle service to/from the airport is NOT AVAILABLE, however, you make schedule an Uber/Lyft or coordinate with other retreat attendees to carpool and rideshare. When should I arrive for check-in?
ARRIVAL: Retreat registration will take place in the hotel lobby on Monday at 5:30 pm. If you have booked a room at the Hilton, check-in is 4:00 pm at the hotel front desk. Prior to arrival, if you have any questions concerning your hotel reserving your room, please contact 843-497-7467 (not the 1-800 reservation number). We recommend you get you room key, get settled in your room and then go to the retreat registration table. It is located in the Dunes Ballroom on the 16th floor. This is also where our first session and dinner will begin 6 pm.
DEPARTURE: The retreat activities will conclude on Wednesday at 1:00pm. However, hotel room check-out is at 11:00am, so please plan accordingly. You may request a late check-out, but availability and fees may apply. (See here for details.)
If you have extended your retreat experience through Wednesday evening, let us know here! We have some optional activities for retreat attendees and you may also want take advantage of the many amenities our resort offers. This includes free shuttle to the outlet malls, beach access, free wrist band for use of the fitness center and indoor pool. You may also book a spa appointment at your convenience.
What is the attire?
The retreat attire is casual/business casual. We encourage everyone to dress in layers, as the temperatures can vary from indoor and outdoor activities. Bring clothes that are comfortable, as this is truly a “retreat” setting. (However, we plan to take a group photo on Wednesday, so bring at least one outfit that makes you feel especially pretty!)
